외국 음악들 가운데 가장 우리 민족 정서를 잘 투영하고 있다고 평가받고 있는 아일랜드와 스코틀랜드의 전통 민요를 그대로 현악 중심의 오케스트레이션으로 재현하고 있는 스코티쉬 휘들 오케스트라의 명반 "Serenity". 스코틀랜드 글래스고 지방의 헨리 우드 홀(The Henry Wood Hall)과 에딘버러의 어셔 홀(The Usher Hall) 두 곳에서 각각 나누어져 녹음된 본 음반의 레코딩들은 오랜 역사동안 스코틀랜드인들의 정서와 그곳의 자연미를 대변해주고 있다
